Fire, Air & Ice: Guided Breathwork

  • SaunaGlo 1915 Southeast Jefferson Street Milwaukie, OR, 97222 United States (map)

If you’re ready to invite emotional healing and personal transformation, this is for you.

It’s a powerful 3-part transcendent evening of sauna, breathwork and cold contrast therapy.

First, enjoy a warm tea and a mild sauna and to open special pathways for your spirit, your brain, and the body’s physical state to calm the nervous system and prepare for an altered state of consciousness.

Then tap in to the depths of your psyche with profound deep breathing techniques and world-class audio production. Wearing headphones, you’ll experience a soundscape portal that interweaves breath exercise guidance, and other audio that includes:

  • Diverse, evocative world music

  • Ambient bio-acoustic natural environment sound effects

  • Solfeggio frequencies and targeted auditory tones

  • Visualizations

  • Spoken affirmations and inspiring ancient wisdom

You can reach peaks of expanded consciousness comparable to traditional plant medicine ceremonies — but completely substance-free.

Following this transformative 65 minutes, your journey deepens as the group moves to the sacred steam of the sauna, where reflection and introspection can harness post-journey thoughts, feelings and beliefs. We allow space and support for the insights and releases to integrate and take root.

If you choose, the evening may include a personally-guided cold water immersion, which can stimulate emotional and physical release even further: a full-spectrum ritual of transformation and mental clarity.

This complete journey is perfect for consciousness explorers who are ready to experience a holistic conduit to access non-ordinary states and profound therapeutic possibilities through the combined power of fire, air and ice.

Notes

• This experience can induce altered states of consciousness similar to a lucid dream.

• You will wear headphones that play an audio recording.

• You will be instructed to breathe-in and breathe-out more deeply and rapidly than usual, which hyper-oxygenates your blood cells and expells carbon dioxide, which can lower your blood pH levels. This can cause some to experience temporary tingling sensations, similar to when your foot ‘falls asleep’ and the nerves ‘wake-up’.

• You might be invited to hold your breath, retaining your inhale or exhale for a period of time, which can stimulate your vagus nerve and increase the flow of cerebral spinal fluid.

• Energy healing techniques offered by the facilitator involve light touch during the breathwork — you are invited to opt-out if this offering is not welcome.

• The setting may include unique aromatic elements to evoke memory and transport the subconscious.

• We encourage all participants to bring a fully-open mindset, suspend the persona, and detach from judgement. This is critical to calm the conscious mind and realize the power of the journey.

You deserve this profound release of tension and blockages. Experience first-hand the elevated levels of self-compassion, acceptance, and renewal, revealing the authentic self within.
